Bill grew up in sunny California, studied piano from a young age and earned a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from the University of California Santa Barbara. During college, Bill became the founding Music Director of the award-winning a cappella group Naked Voices. After college, Bill worked as a singer, pianist and music director at Southern California mainstays like Musical Theatre West, Knotts Berry Farm and Disneyland.
Bill expanded his vocal coaching business in New York City, continuing to music direct on both sides of the United States, and helped with music direction and supervision for cabarets, concerts, and shows at NYMF and Off Broadway.
Eventually, Bill began working extensively in the midst of the cruise industry renaissance. He continued to vocal direct and arrange new projects, but now also restaged shows, and created and directed brand new concerts aboard a worldwide fleet of vessels.
